Whilst at Hampton Court the children will have an opportunity to tour the Palace and its gardens as well as taking part in an Upstairs Downstairs workshop.
Thank you to the Friends of Orchard Vale for their generous donation which has enabled us to keep the cost of this trip down for parents.
We anticipate the coach returning to Orchard Vale for 9.30/9.45pm.
For those children not partaking of the Hampton Court visit
An invitation to visit Orchard Hall on Friday, 3rd November
You are cordially invited to visit Orchard Hall in the Vale of Whiddon Valley on Friday, 3rd November 2017 by Mistress Harding, lady of the house.
During the day you will partake of a Tudor experience which shall include:
- The making and digesting of pottage and fresh bread.
- The making and wearing of fine hats and headdresses.
- The playing of traditional games.
- The painting of Tudor portraits.
Should you suffer any allergic reactions to food please inform Mistress Harding so that she can make sure that the pottage is of a goodly kind.
Should you wish to wear your most fine and comely of Tudor clothing you shall be received well at the hall.
I look forward to seeing you at the main entrance to the hall on Friday, 3rd November 2017. Alight the stairs to Miss Squire's classroom and knock upon the door to be admitted.
With kindest regards.
