Key Stage One visit to Northam Burrows/Westward Ho! - June 2019

Northam Burrows/Westward Ho!

Key Stage One

Tuesday, 18th and Wednesday, 19th June 2019

(Friends of Orchard Vale contribution £175.80)

We had a fabulous time at Northam Burrows.

The rock pooling was awesome. We were fortunate to catch creatures such as shrimp, fish, anemone, starfish and crabs; the second group even found a creature unknown to the rangers which was very exciting.

The children behaved wonderfully and walked from Westward Ho! to the Visitors Centre, which is quite a distance, without complaint.  We all loved the mini missions workshop in the afternoon.

What a thrill to see Mr Hockings arrive and everyone enjoyed an ice cream or lolly.

A thoroughly enjoyable trip!
